Explorer is a 2D sci-fi platformer set inside a vast alien jungle teeming with strange plant life, ancient technology, and bubbling pools of acid. You play as a lone space explorer on a mission to recover lost research data in a hostile world where every step is a puzzle and every jump could be your last.

🎵 My Role & Audio Work 

📢 Audio Design & Implementation

• Designed all in-game sound effects, including player movement, jumps, hazards (like acid), and ambiences.

• Created layered environmental soundscapes using spatial mixing techniques.

• Developed all UI sounds and designed musical stingers for key in-game moments.

• Implemented interactive and spatial audio in FMOD.

🎛 Tools & Techniques Used

✔ FMOD – Used for spatialised 2D audio and interactive layering.
✔ Ableton Live – Composed music and crafted all sound assets.
✔ Reaktor / Serum / PhasePlant– Synth-based sound design for alien environments.
✔ Field Foley & Editing – Custom footsteps, acid bubbles, and more recorded and layered manually.
